Who we are
The Coven of the Appalachian Mountains is a federally recognized 501c3 religious non-profit and a state-recognized "religious denominational organization" based in Dyke, Virginia, but with members spanning the US. We function as a safe community for people of all faiths to gather, respectfully discuss ideas and beliefs, and work towards achieving religious understanding and equality.
Our Heritage
The landscape of the Appalachian Mountains have shaped much of the region’s culture, beliefs, and practices. Members of our Coven have combined the beliefs and practices born of this land with those that their ancestors brought with them, creating an eclectic and well-rounded group. We come from all over the world but are united in our love for these mountains and our respect of tradition.
Ordainment
Our High Priestess Brandy Morris is Ordained in the eyes of the Coven as well as in the eyes of the Circuit Court in Greene County, Virginia. Before that, she was deemed a Reverend in the eyes of Wisdom of the Heart Church a 501c3 Religious Organization - EIN: 56-2414607
High Reverend Jennifer Daniels is Ordained in the eyes of the Coven as well as in the eyes of the Circuit Court in Greene County, Virginia.
